Dr. Arnold’s research primarily covers three areas:

  • formulation, cleaning, rheology, atomization, combustion and commercial use of coal-water fuels
  • remediation of soil contaminated with oil
  • formulation, rheology and process technology of the paints made from magnetic pigments that are used in the manufacture of magnetic recording media, such as audio and video tapes
